This would be very interesting to see. Sorta like the oni, they can drop rare items, but cannot be farmed.

Very Nice Idea, I would also like to throw out this idea,

He has 20 in every atribute, He can use skills that target "other" on himself, and his skill bar consists of the Elite skill of every party member. So if there are 5 party members with elites, he will have 5 elite skills. This has him scale in hardness as party size grows, and it makes it an interesting challenge. Also if you beat him, instead of droping a green like you guys are suggesting he drops a "Psychic Totem" that acts like an "Amulet of the Mist" just has different collectors tied to it! This way the player can choose what green he wants. This can be done like other players sugested, Having a cinematic when he is agroed that teleports your team to a "psyhcic arena" and then after you defeat him you get another cinematic and get teleported to Another place with these collects, and even a special "ghoul" pet for rangers! The pet would be SUPPER rare since rangers rarely walk around with an empty charm animal on their bar. Also we can find Gwen here and talk to her, And if we give her some items, we will get another cinematic where we find out the psycic abducted her and turned her into his aprentice, and then we fight gwen and once we kill Gwen we get teleported to another place and we get a "Gwen Totem" that we can use to get SUPER rare items and a SUPER Rare Mini-Gwen Ranger Pet, and we can craft a special Head piece that looks like a giant gwens head!

1/2 of my post is serious

Uber Shiro? Lol;P

Reminds me much of uber diablo from ... Diablo.

I'd like to see a Chimera here, and it could be called, hmmmm...

"Serpent Wing"?
"Silver Fang?"

Or.... an Ogre?

"Big Foot"?

Or perhaps, a Gorgon?

"Origin:
In early Greek mythology, the Gorgon was a monster of the underworld. In later tradition the Gorgons were the three daughters of sea-god Phorcys and his sister-wife Ceto: Stheno (the Mighty), Euryale (the Far Springer), and Medusa (the Queen)."

They could come in Trio's

This is without doubt, the best idea I have read on this forum. Excellent work Guardian. Suggestions...

-Make this boss as you say. As powerful as you have described. Would level 30-40 be too much?

-Make him/her/it appear anywhere in the game. Low areas, high, wherever. Why? It's more random. Plus this being has little interest in humans. He searches the world for something. If he appears, he will not attack you. You cannot 'aggro' him. He will merely pass by.
You can freely walk by him, with him even, until he 'fades' to his next destination. By doing this, you may rarely witness him mutter something to himself that you can understand or send out waves which you can interpret. This will be quite random. You may not hear anything at all. As he starts to fade, that's it. He's gone.

Over the course of maybe a year or 2, people can learn about this creature. What he is. Where he is from, but most importantly, what he is doing here.

For those who wish to fight him. You need only attack him. Similar to how animals behave. When you allow his attention to fall upon you, the world will darken around you. Instantly letting you know that you have triffled with something far greater than the some of your group. Of any group.

He can not be bested. You can only 'impress' him. Upon 'defeat' he will knock everyone down, those protected from Knockdown will be petrified, and drop everyone to 1 hp and 1 mana (all degenerative afflictions will be removed).
He will look over your party and whisper something barely audible, and he will 'give' you a reward. Not drop. Give.
He will then fade away to his next destination, the surrounding world will be returned to normal, and you will be 'allowed' to rise .

If he drops assured greens every time then he should be very hard. Like...SF's flame djin (or however you spell it) hard.

His name would have to be something that could be interepereted many different ways and would start controversy. "The awakener" would be a good one.

Thanks.

I have an add on to this idea

Perhaps when you "impress" him he gives you a riddle to solve and goes away leaving you the greens.

When you solve this riddle and go to a certian place at a certian time you will defeat a minion of his and he drops nothing but a useless item (or so it seems).

At the last mission before you kill the final boss if all 8 party member have this item they will glow and summon the Psychic(or whatever we decide to call him). He will destroy the final boss and say a few words like:

"I have waited a enternity searching out for someone equal to me"
"Now I have found you and I am impressed"
"Fight me now and we shall see who shall be the best, for a great reward awaits if you best me"

Then you fight likely you won't defeat him because he's even harder then before but if you do he will say a few words and die. Then you recieve a title and a great reward.

Very cool . I really like the twist at the end. What I don't like is his search ending with us (we really shouldn't be important enough). Something bigger, or even smaller would be better. Smaller as in an animal or plant that is the key to something very, very important to the fate of the universe ( or whatever ). Living right under our noses.
I also don't like the thought of you actually killing him. This should be more or less, impossible. Maybe instead, you actually manage to wound him deeply. He is in complete shock at this. "These primitive life forms have the power to wound something as ancient and powerful as myself?" are his thoughts. This freaks him out.
His normal, benevolent nature, even when battling him (he's just playing with ya' after all) erodes to anger, hostility and rage. Now ladies and gentlemen, you have to run for it . You spend the rest of the mission running lol. For like 5-10 minutes your running from the ferocious creature lost in a deep fury perfected over millennia. destroying everything in it's path.
This could be a mini cataclysmic event. He's just about to go nuclear and basically tear the shit up (the planet perhaps) but then his mind turns elsewhere.
What could have swayed his fury? Who knows. Maybe he had a realisation about his previous goal. Maybe in awe at the potential of such a young race, we are favoured by the god's after all. Perhaps even the god's themselves intervened.
In any case, he ends his assault. Gives something remarkable for each team member (something that actually has his 'real' name on it! Like 'Wraith Of The Ancient', 'Edge of The Ancient', 'Slayer of The Ancient' something like that). Then actually says, he "...bestows upon you the rite of the 'Blood of The Ancient' for you are indeed worthy..."
It would also be cool if whenever you use title, a mark appears on your characters body that glows. The mark of the Ancient (cheek, forehead, armour, etc...).

Of course, for all this cool stuff, this guy would have to be near impossible to defeat. Yeah, yeah. I know pve is supposed to be easy, but there has to be something for the true elites to strive for. 'Blood of the Ancient' is a title I would want far more than Gladiator for example.
It would take an incredibly good team to stop him. No slackers. He could have an uninterruptible skill, called Ancient Awakening, which boost's him to level 40 for 5 seconds (from 33 perhaps, since Shiro is 31). Talk about over-powered lol. for a battle like this, you would need like 2 Ritualists and 2 monks just to mitigate the damage or something. He would probably have a way to deal with that to. An elite version of Signet of Creation perhaps. Anyway, you get the idea. this guy is the real deal. A god amongst men if you will.

I've said this before but, /signed

Well him flipping out and almost destoying the GW world is a pretty good idea.

Perhaps a mission area opens that only is open for the day or so that lets you face him in his 'evil' form. You would get help from Heros of the Hall of Heroes, Clans form other world and mybe even the Gods themselves to all try to stop him from destoying all worlds in his rage.

You have to face multiple forms of him ( 3 perhaps) and eventually you make him transform his into his true good self again.

He tells you his quest in something like this.

Big Boss: Thank you for snapping me out of that errr, well form.
You: Don't mention it
Big Boss: Now I must be going
You: But wait where are you going, what are you searching for?
Big Boss: I see you deserve to know. You see I'm looking for something farther then the mists or the hall of heroes.
You: But what? Whats farther then the Hall of Heroes
Big Boss: the place where Gods got their powers, the place where I too may become a God.
You: is that even possilble. I mean isn't that place the mists.
Big Boss: When you travel across all worlds you soon think that nothing is immpossible there must be a place holding the God's powers.
You: Then what if it is immpossible
Big Boss: then my journey is forever. I hope that isn't true. Now I must go. May your soul find it's way to the Hall of Heroes. Here is a gift.

Before the end of the fight everything but your party should be kill or banished to make the fight better.
